Kenya's central province, Murang'a, has beautiful red, loamy soil and startlingly high altitudes which contribute to a juicy, berry-forward cup. All of Kenya’s coffees are graded primarily by screen size, which is a measure of the size of the bean. AA is the top grade based on screening. Both the SL28 and Ruiru 11 varieties are extremely hearty varieties that resist disease, drought and other agricultural events while producing a rich, full bodied cup.
